Charles Dodgson – A Boyhood Walk

Charles Lutwidge Dodgson was born in Daresbury in 1832.  He is famous for writing the book ‘Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland’. His father was the vicar of All Saints’ Church.  At the time, the vicarage was on Morphany Lane, about three miles from the church and Charles would have been used to walking between his home and the church.  This walk takes you along the route and gives an insight into his childhood and the countryside he grew up in.
