We have been researching the stories of some of the extraordinary women of the parish as part of our work for Heritage Open Days. Our stories span 4 centuries and include a convict transported to Australia, a lady ‘who went about doing good’, another who never really existed, the WI in WW2 and some ladies who continue to do extraordinary things today.
We will be telling you about them all on Thursday September 13. Come and join us for a cup of tea at 7pm, the talk will begin promptly at 7.30pm. There will be no charge for this event.
