Reuben Taylor

Reuben was born on the 16th September 1889, in Preston Brook, two years after his sister Frances. Their mother was Louisa Taylor, nothing is known of their father.

Reuben had four brothers and sisters by his father :- Frances (b.1887 abt in Preston Brook), Joseph (b.1894 abt in Runcorn), John (b.1896 abt in Runcorn), and Annie (b.1900 abt in Weston).
By the 1901 Census Reubens mother had recently married James Badge (born in Runcorn) who worked on the furnaces at a Copper Plant. Here Reuben gained a step sister Florence (b.1888 abt in Runcorn).Their home being in Weston.

Come the 1911 Census he now had three more step siblings (Thomas b.1902 abt and Doris b.1905 abt, both born in Weston and then Margaret b. 1909 abt in Runcorn. The family now being at 12 Stanley Street, Runcorn. Reuben now 21 worked at a Copper Plant as an oiler.

In WW1 Reuben was married to Ann Taylor and was in the R.A.F. No.164489.
