We are immensely grateful to all those who have helped us in this project, including –
Heritage Lottery Fund – funding has enabled us to undertake our WW1 project to commemorate all those from the parish who served in WW1 and to tell the stories of the villages and families they left behind
Timebank – the Merseylink website manager has set up our DDHG website and taught us how to upload content and manage the site
All Saints’, Daresbury – continuing support for the project and use of the Lewis Carroll Centre
Halton Borough Council – “resources provided by Daresbury Local Area Forum…proud to be supporting your neighbourhood” – funding to purchase a projector and screen and large scale maps of the parish, plus support from members of staff from several departments
Moore Watercolour Painting Group – design of our original logo, a very special poppy and hand-drawn maps of the villages
And ‘thank you’ to everyone who has given us permission to use anecdotal information and photographs. We try and trace the owners of photographs, but sometimes this is not possible.
