William Bradbury
William was born in Warrington on 26 December 1897. He was the son of John and Elizabeth and had four sisters and two brothers. The family lived in Moore, where John was a cowman.
William served with the Cheshire Regiment (regimental number 243802), but we have no further information.
After the war, William returned to the village and married Clara Wainwright. They had a daughter, Hilda, in 1924. In 1939, the family was living in bungalow 5, Moss Lane and William was a builder’s labourer.
